The Setting of Zephyr is a set of small continents collectively known as Zephyr. It is only a few days' trip from one continent to another. Crossing the ocean to get to Al'Senshira, the Easternmost continent, could be difficult for an earthbound feline, but would only be about a day's swim or flight, taking breaks along the islands in between.
There are no real-world locations nor humans in the reality of Zephyr. Other continents in the world are unknown, so feel free to get creative with your character's origin story.

The Biomes of Zephyr are large and diverse. Every species of feline can find a comfortable place to live.
